Binding lifecycle management templates to security groups

Hosted Pro license supports binding of Lifecycle Management Templates to Azure Active Directory security groups. Users added to a specific security group may be automatically enabled for Microsoft Teams and have policies and telephony settings applied based on the defined “persona” templates.

To bind Lifecycle Management Template to security group:

  1. In the Teams Management portal’s navigation menu pane, select Lifecycle Management.

  1. Click Add; the following appears:

  1. In the 'Security Group' field, enter the Security Group name.

  1. From the 'Template' drop-down list, select the Lifecycle Management Template, and then click Save. The newly created binding is displayed in the table.

  1. If you have multiple bindings defined, you can use up / down arrow in the Rank column to change their priority (and therefore assignment order).
